DECE destination unlocked! Blea Airgh EI-B d13-1

Three stars in this system with a Class F sun as the entry point. Lots of landables. Seems to be a halfway point between the last waypoint and Magellan's Star. Nothing really notable here unless you need jumponium.

DECE destination unlocked! Synookaea MX-L d7-0

Located on the edge of the Tenebris void, and halfway between spiral arms, Synookaea MX-L d7-0 is more of a placement point than anything else - a direction pointer to get to the next arm. It takes a lot of jumponium to get this far and even more to cross the rest of the way on leaving. If you're coming from the direction of Ultima Centauri then it's going to be a long ride. Take advantage of points of interest to break up the monotony. Stop for jumponium often. With the release of ED:Beyond 1.x planets are, colorwise at least, much more interesting.

Point of Interest - Erebus 34

Trying to break up the long journey to the next waypoint I have been doing a little sightseeing along the way. Shumbua AA-A h34 is a dark and spooky system, containing five black holes and a shadowy icy world. One has to wonder how a single solar system ended up with five black holes, no nebulae, and no other stars nearby that have felt the impact of the creation of these monsters.

Also, today was the dropping of Elite:Beyond on the live servers. So far I haven't seen anything not to like.

DECE destination unlocked! Ultima Centauri

Eembaitl DL-Y d13 takes me beyond the 75% point in the Expedition. Ahead is another 17,000 light years to the next destination. However, here in this system, is a rapidly rotating neutron star with planets and a binary. EDSM lists it as a green system, housing all jumponium materials. At this point I don't need any so I doubt I'll linger here for long. What may be of more interest is whether we'll get further material storage space when Beyond:Chapter One drops next week or whether we'll be stuck with the current system until we dock somewhere. I've seen it go both ways with a game upgrade.

DECE destination unlocked! The Hypaa Byio Buoy

A long way from the last waypoint, The Hypaa Byio ZE-A g1 system houses a very large Class B star with another some distance away. I believe this will catapult me close to the 75% point of the Expedition.

DECE destination unlocked! The Sublustris Beacon

If you follow a direct 'as the crow flies' trail from Beagle Point to Cheae Eurl AA-A g0 you will find little (if any) unexplored systems along the way. My guess is that the path between these two waypoints are generally very popular with expeditions.

Grill At The End Of The Road

Located on body 1A of system Ceeckia ER-I b43-0 (coords. -4.8, -80.5) there are a set of fire-belching fumaroles with plenty of minerals to gather. Rich spot for Arsenic and Yttrium for those long range jumps.

Yooxiae CR-C d0

I give this system a mention because if one continues out beyond Beagle Point this is about the furthest you can go without leaving the Milky Way. To be sure, there are other stars that can get you a little further away from Sol but they don't seem to track away from Beagle Point. I'm saving those places for the Distant Suns 2 expedition.

DECE destination unlocked! Beagle Point

A well-mapped area. Back when the game was fresh out of the box this was a very difficult place to reach. But that was before Engineers and enhanced jump drives. Now visiting this Class K star can be done without using Jumponium. Logged planets and moved on.

Distant View in Blue

A little side trip to break up the monotony of the voyage to Beagle Point. Distant View in Blue is a planetary nebula with a black hole at its center - at least, somewhere in all that blue is a black hole according to my instruments. Other notes: I appear to be currently on the super highway to Beagle Point - probably one of the most visited stars in the Elite:Dangerous explorative domain (aside from Sagittarius A*). Hardly a star around doesn't have some explorer's name appended to it. Planets are more open, with few or any in any particular system being tagged. Even though you're on the other side of the Milky Way you don't feel alone.
