Mapeamento Galático > Rotas > Geminorum Scenic Route
One of the 48 constellations described by the 2nd century astronomer Ptolemy, Gemini was a classical constellation throughout the pre-space era. Its name is Latin for "twins," and it is associated with the twins Castor and Pollux in Greek mythology. It is represented by the symbol ♊.
This route will guide you through the main stars of the constellation and towards the outer part of the galaxy from civilized space. Along the way, you will encounter sights such as the neutron star "Geminga" and various habitable worlds - colonized or otherwise. If you choose, it is also possible to visit the Eskimo planetary nebula with a slight detour.
The route is fairly short and can be used for anything from a stepping stone for larger exploration, tourism, or even racing!
