Investigated the proto-lagrange cloud reported on the codex in HYPAO BROAE RO-Z D13-2, right on the Trojan Belt's side of the border with the Sagittarius-Carina Arm. Oddly, the system had no sign of the proto-lagrange cloud despite the codex entry, possible it has left the system since discovery, or the discovery was wrong in the first place.

As a further note, the galaxy map borders of the region don't seem to line up exactly with the actual region borders as indicated on the jump HUD info. The Sagittarius-Carina Arm is densely packed with systems containing lagrange clouds and their NSP's, some of which appear to be on the Trojan Belt side of the border but are in fact not. This error-zone may have something to do with the erroneous codex entry mentioned above, though based on the false proto-lagrange cloud report the codex does seem to the think the system is within the Trojan Belt boundaries.

Cataloguing of Sinuous Tubers in Izanami continues. Listing concentrations of tuber types per area for reference, based on all publicly recorded discoveries for each area listed to date.

#1 Within 1050 LY of PHAA BRIAE RP-E d12-143 - Target Area, total 62

Systems with Albidium: 0 | Systems with Blatteum: 46 | Systems with Caeruleum: 0 | Systems with Lindigoticum: 36 | Systems with Prasinium: 0 | Systems with Roseum: 10 | Systems with Violaceum: 36 | Systems with Viride: 14

Very similar distribution to #7 despite having only about a third the number of systems.

#3 Within 1050 LY of EORLD PRAU QU-O E6-1467 - Total 57

Systems with Albidium: 0 | Systems with Blatteum: 30 | Systems with Caeruleum: 0 | Systems with Lindigoticum: 23 | Systems with Prasinium: 0 | Systems with Roseum: 13 | Systems with Violaceum: 24 | Systems with Viride: 11

A bit of an outlier. Mostly similar to #1, 3 and 5 except for its high number of Roseum like in #6, however it also contains small amounts of Albidium, Caeruleum, and Prasinium.

#5 Within 1050 LY of EIDAIK OP-V D3-428 - Total 59

Systems with Albidium: 0 | Systems with Blatteum: 42 | Systems with Caeruleum: 0 | Systems with Lindigoticum: 35 | Systems with Prasinium: 0 | Systems with Roseum: 9 | Systems with Violaceum: 31 | Systems with Viride: 20

Systems with Albidium: 0 | Systems with Blatteum: 54 | Systems with Caeruleum: 0 | Systems with Lindigoticum: 45 | Systems with Prasinium: 0 | Systems with Roseum: 42 | Systems with Violaceum: 48 | Systems with Viride: 32

Similar distribution to #4 except that it contains no Albidium, Caeruleum, or Prasinium.

#7 Within 1050 LY of BYOI AIP CD-R C18-15 - Total 150

Systems with Albidium: 57 | Systems with Blatteum: 8 | Systems with Caeruleum: 28 | Systems with Lindigoticum: 8 | Systems with Prasinium: 60 | Systems with Roseum: 105 | Systems with Violaceum: 12 | Systems with Viride: 7

A nice big group, very similar distribution to #2 which makes me comfortable with the dataset of around 60 for the other areas.

Source: edastro.com

Map sourced from edastro. There are other areas I could have listed, but didn't due to their small number of systems (around 30). I think that's too few to make any reliable assumptions from.

The Empyrean Straits appears to have only (listed in most common to least) Roseum, Prasinium, Albidium and Caeruleum tubers.

The patch at the Galactic Centre has only Roseum and Caeruleum, in about a 3:1 ratio respectively.

  • Signature 10: Blatteum Sinuous Tubers
  • Signature 11: Blatteum Sinuous Tubers

First time I've encountered varying biological signatures on the same body. It's a rocky body with volcanism orbiting a high metal content body, which technically matches all the codex listed requirements for these tubers (apparently being on a moon of a listed terrestrial body type qualifies as "around").

Addendum, 22 4 3308

Retroactively noting that PHAA BRIAE TE-Q E5-259 is a more interesting example of multiple types of biological signatures appearing on the same body, body 4 C A hosts Luteolum Anemone and Blatteum Sinuous Tubers.

Added a Xeno Multi-Limpet Controller to the build, which features Repair, Decontamination, and Research limpet functions. Took a fleet carrier back to Izanami to resume my searching there.

In PHAA BRIAE IC-V F2-1509 I found seven bodies with biological signatures: B 12, B 5, B 4, B 3, B 6, B 10, B 7 all Blatteum Bioluminescent Anemone.

Addendum, 6-8 2 3308

Later arrived in the Mushroom Nebula, Vegnue sector. VEGNUE TP-E D12-152 is host to two Notable Stellar Phenomena and ten bodies with biological signatures.

NSP in proximity to body 7: Viride Lagrange Cloud. Luteolum Parasol Molluscs, Flavum Metallic Crystals.

NSP in proximity to body 8: Roseum Lagrange Cloud. Luteolum Parasol Molluscs, Purpureum Metallic Crystals.

Biological Signatures: 4 A, 4 B, 4 C, 4 D, 4 D A, 5 B, 5 A, , 7 A, 7 B, 7 D, all Bark Mounds.

Arrived in Izanami region, nebula PHLEEDGOEA AA-A H108 to look for Caeruleum and Prasinum sinuous tubers.

Sinuous Tubers location data:

Caeruleum

  • Volcanism
  • Rocky worlds
  • Any stars?

Prasinum

  • Volcanism
  • Metal Rich and High Metal worlds
  • Any stars?

Found bark mounds on Phleedgoea JT-N C21-44 1 B. It's a rocky body with no volcanism and no atmosphere, about 905 LS from the system's G class star. This body's satellite (1 B A, rocky body, silicate vapour geysers, no atmosphere) also features identical bark mounds.

Two more Earth-like worlds since the last log. At this point I would prefer finding a proto-star.

Have reached the outer rim of the Aquila's Halo. Will mostly be visiting systems that don't exist in the EDDN and recording how many I find that are actually unexplored. I'm expecting the area to be well-travelled given the edges of the galaxy tend to attract attention.

Survey Started: 28/10/3306

Systems Checked

  • Was previously discovered: 31
  • Undiscovered: 4

Survey Concluded: 1/11/3306

Even more well travelled than I expected, will abandon the area early to go look for more interesting pastures.
