So, I'd signed up for the Distant World's 2 Expedition month's back when I was still an independent pilot, having previously enjoyed the communal experience of last year's Enigma Expedition to Colonia.
But that was before the latest game update and the introduction of Squadrons.
I joined @Cmdr_Knave and Cmdr Camel Number 1 @MWeeble at Fusang Heavy Engineering @ED_FHE #FHVY and I have to say, had an absolute blast.
It was with a genuinely heavy heart that I headed off from Fusang to Shinrarta to pick up my exploration Anaconda, sorry that I wouldn't be around to see our squadron grow and develop.
So imagine my delight when first Cmdr Camel Number 1 and then Cmdr Knave decided that they were joining the expedition as well, Fusang Heavy Engineering flying together to Beagle Point
So it's with an even more pleasurable sense of anticipation that I'm now sat at the Distant Worlds 3302 beacon counting down the time to launch at 20:00 UTC on 13/01/3305
Excelsior o7
just picking up UK fragments for PP
Home again home again. Light bit of FSD engineering on the FDL and Python now off to see Broo to upgrade the lasers before ranking for Sirius Corp
a little over 1.00kly to go
About half way back to Founder's neutron routing which has saved about 20 jumps but overall it may have been quicker not to
Followed up on the heart and soul info from the dynasty logs nowt special though
Parked up at Base Camp asteroid base and planning a neutron route back to Founder's
Bit of a disappointment in the end but one ticked off the list
Arrived safely but it is awfully black and cold out here, very few stars and a bright nebula on the horizon
On my way to WP4 at Outorst TQ-W b15-0...stars thinning out but many more explorers have been this way before me in comparison to my Colonia trip
caught up on Day 1 and half way through the journey to WP2....pretty barren in terms of scanable planets
