The Formidine Void justifies its name

Am heading through the Elysian Shore towards the Formidine Rift. Plotting routes there is a bit complicated as more often than not, distances between stars go beyond my ship's normal maximum range. Thank the Engineers, I have materials to supercharge the FSD...for now...

Soul Nebula: Checked

Have arrived at Soul Nebula. Looks nice from a distance.

The trek continues

My pilgrimage towards the outer rim continues. Can't say there have been many exciting things to look at. These long trips can get dull if one does not entertain himself somehow. I'm glad I brought old early 21st century series with me to watch. It is funny to think they needed these...streaming was it? Yeah, streaming services to watch entertainment in those day. Things are certainly different with Galnet in place.

Anemones - The first contact with alien planetary life

Having decided to take an outside-the-bubble a couple of weeks back, I found myself at Cupid's Arrow (as many other CMDRs may know them by, the S171 systems), took the time to survey some of the closer lumps of rock. Was pleasantly surprised when the scans for S171 37 10 A showed 3 biological signals so decided to land to see what I would found.

The first location, was on the dark side of the planet, just pass the twilight zone. What I found was pretty in utter darkness Bioluminescent anemones in the dark So, of course, went out for a bit of a drive. Driving through the darkness

Hopped over to the second location, this time on the day side of the planet. Again, a field of Anemones. A field of anemones

Took the time to go spelunking for a bit Spelunking anemones
