CMDR Luth Curmal Lave - The pilgrimage

How can you play ED and not go to the home of ELITE as was in 1983!

Just Do IT!

You can also find Rare Commodities to buy there and then sell at Witchhaul solar system for silly profits (If you are a beginner!)

CMDR Luth Curmal - Sol - The pilgrimage

It just has to be done!

Get yourself to the Sol solar system and get to see the planets as they are stunning!

The Mars station is simply beautiful to see, once you are inside!

CMDR Luth Curmal - Ships - What to do? What a to-do! My advice - Keep It Simple Stupid!

After getting from Matet Starter System area to Ceos, I bought the T7 and boosted my credit making and rank gains to crazy levels.

I bought different ships in time and got them fitted with good modules in Diaguandri (Modules and most ships sold about 15% cheaper than elsewhere), I fitted out:

  1. Python (For Mining);
  2. Beluga Liner (For Passenger Missions);
  3. Asp Explorer (For Expedition);
  4. Type 9 (For hauling and Boom time missions);
  5. Type 7 (For Hauling missions).

I found that:

  1. Type 9 is not ideal for Ceos/Sothis missions - Too sluggish, always interdicted;
  2. Type 7 is ideal for Ceos/Sothis missions - Agile enough, always evaded interdiction's.
  3. I need to study how to mine properly;
  4. I need to study and correctly use key shortcuts and or means to operate modules!
CMDR Luth Curmal @ LHS 3447 - Starter System - Solo Play

I started ED life in/near the LHS 3447 starter system.

To de-risk, I also played in 'Solo Play' mode.

I built up a decent wallet, doing simple hauling and data transfer missions. Improved ships to match, Hauler/Adder/Cobra MkIII.

At 20m credits, I then moved outside the Starter bubble and headed to Sothis/Ceos sytems. Bought a T7 and within 50 hauler missions has made back the 17m ship cost, carried on the hauling missions = Easy, low risk, crazy amounts of credits made!

CMDR Luth Curmal - Ngalinn, Mainani and Aitvas - Empire Ranking (Triangular Route) = Easy Imperial Cutter access & Boom time

Ngalinn, Mainani and or Aitvas can be used to gain Empire rankings fast, then in due course - The right to purchase the Imperial Cutter.

To do this quickly, obtain a fast agile ship, accept all the data transfer missions you can (20 mission limit) and grab the 'Reputation' prize, instead of the credits!

NOTE: Mainani provides such missions to Aitvas for higher credit, however for less 'Reputation'. The three systems allow a perfect triangular route, so maybe you can accept some extra cash as your improving rankings.
