Gal. Kartographierung > Routen > Sagittarius A* to Beagle Point - my route

My personal tour to the Northern Pole of the galaxy goes on: Here is part 2 of my route.

First it will lead you a bit off the well-trodden path. Instead of directly going to Ryker's Hope, you will be going to the north-west, into Odin's Hold. There you can have a look at a field of Stellar Remnants for a few days before movig on.

Second, I will take you a bit down the galactic plane. the deepest point of the route, at around -2800 below the plane, offers you a nice view on the galaxy.

After that, you will be directed to three nebulae along the way, one of them full of life (and many unexplored systems) to discover. Take your time and enjoy the views :)

The nebulae are followed by a little stretch of a few thousands ly with nothing special to lean back and just let go (maybe you find some ELWs or exotics along the way), before reaching the edge of the Abyss.

Before crossing the Abyss, take your time to visit Thomaski Point Memorial and take some time to remember the fallen CMDR Thomaski (May he rest in peace :(), and cross the Abyss starting in the EOWRAIRKS sector (A ship with a range of 40 ly or more is recommended for this route) in his honour.

After a small detour to Distant View in Blue, you have just a small leap to go, before reaching Beagle Point. A historical system, and destination of many expeditions since its first discovery.

For the bonus, a ship with a range of at least 40-45 ly ist mandatory. Make your way up to the northen pole of the galaxy, calledSemotus Beacon or Oevasy SG-Y d0. It is the northermost reachable system to date, therefore, a historical point in the whole galaxy. For the best view, go to moon B9f, the farthest moon from Sol, and just enjoy the view of the vast galaxy rising over it. It is just around 400 lys from Beagle Point, but you'll need several jumponium injections to reach it. Better fill up on materials on the way up here!
