I've managed to ascend to 1700LY above the galactic plane, as I cross into the Perseus Arm

A gas giant in the Choomiae IH-S d5-0 system:

Travelled 1,274LY from Pyroomou EL-P d5-2 to Pyroomuae ZU-P d5-0

Travelled 3,189LY from Hypou Fraae JH-S d5-0 to Pyroomou EL-P d5-2

I had ascended to 1580LY above the galactic plane at Hypou Auf TE-Q d5-1 but found it hard to find a route at that level. It was better to descend to 1300LY above the galactic plane to find a path across the Outer Arm.

Travelled 795LY from Hypou Fraae JS-H c11-0 to Hypou Fraae JH-S d5-0 which is 1200LY above the galactic plane.

I've now arrived at the neutron stars and should make more progress each day and reach a higher distance above the galactic plane.

Travelled 893LY from Hypoae Freau RR-C c13-0 to Hypou Fraae JS-H c11-0 which is 580LY above the galactic plane.

I noticed I had strayed off my intended path along the 25,000 latitude line, when at Hypoae Freau RR-C c13-0, probably as the navigation computer found it easier to plot a course through stars away from the intended route. I corrected this by plotting shorter distances and getting back to the required course.

I'm starting to see neutron stars ahead and will hopefully be able to utilise some jet cone boosts to make up some time.

Total distance travelled since start = 75,993LY/70 Days = 1,085LY/Day

Travelled 1,014LY from Hypiae Freau QT-R d4-0 to Hypiae Freau HK-R d4-2

I ended up using around 25 injected FSD boosts from Hypiae Fraae CF-R d4-0, which is more than I had planned to use. I was travelling to far above the galactic plane and had to drop to around 135LY above the galactic plane, where the navigation computer could take over the routing. Hypiae Freau HK-R d4-2 is the last system where an FSD boost was required and from here I can use normal hyperspace jumps.

Travelled 1,129LY from Choomeia YU-P d5-0 to Hypiae Freau QT-R d4-0

Hypiae Freau QT-R d4-0 is 233LY above the galactic plane.

After a bit of system exploration I headed 1,004LY westward to Choomeia YU-P d5-0

Interestingly Choomeia YU-P d5-0 is a large green system with a ringed ammonia world 345,000ls from the primary star.
