This is one of the 'southern' star clusters of the Segnao Starburst, Segnao-3). Like its counterparts it is nearly spherical in shape and has quite a few neutron stars in it. Again like its counterparts, it is speculated that this cluster was born out of a starburst event in the past when a large part of a giant molecular cloud collapsed.
