Gain rank of Elite Trader

For the last month I've been working at completing my Rank to Elite Trader. Success came when I moved back to trading between 63 Geminorus and BD+27 1356 where passengers were willing to pay 10,000,000 for the trip to Fairbairn Platform at 63 Geminorum. So I made the grade 8th January 2018 (3305). A fantastic feeling. Now I need to decide what I want to achieve as an Elite CMDR.

Nice to meet Friends

Diary Date: Sunday 17th November 2018. Members of the G.O.M. Collective met outside Mueller Station in the Zelano system for a group photograph. Initially, five were stationed there inside the platform but as soon as the word got around, the final number was twelve. After trying to line up in a line it was thought that a circle would make the better photo. Ships got very close together, but with Power to Systems at four pips, there was little chance of damage to ships. A number of pictures were taken but in all, it took nearly 90 minutes to complete. A fun time was had by all; until someone suggested we should take on of us all firing our weapons. Those that did found themselves with a big fine. G.O.M. Collective

Where is the Nav Beacon?

I have undertaken my second Adventure Mission. Once again to a Nav Beacon. One jump and then onto the beacon. I really must take a picture of them. Slight confusion on arrival as I forgot to review the contacts panel where the passenger had stored the information to locate the beacon. I'll soon get the hang of it. Payout of £1.2M c.

What an Adventure

I've undertaken my first Adventure mission. Not a major mission, just a visit to a Plant Visitor Beacon. Had a problem in finding the beacon. Initially found the local nav beacon and was scanned by many ships looking for a fight. Managed to find the Visitor's Beacon but unable to scan. Returned to the station that granted the mission to review the situation. Launched again to attempt to complete the mission. Found the scannable beacon just to the side of the actual beacon. Mission completed and returned to the station to collect the payout. A learning curve.

The Elite Program

1've returned to Ngalinn and Mainani Systems to try and find missions with a high payout that will count towards my Tycoon ranking, currently 31%, and eventually Elite. After a few trips between the two systems, it looks like there is a triangle that will provide suitable missions: Ngalinn/Mainani/Aitvas. The larger payout missions are for Aitvas, but there is little coming out of there. The big aspect I've noticed is that Adventure missions out of all three stations, the downside is that many are 90LY each way and often a plus one extra trip; I don't think I can do those yet. So, let's see how much I can earn in the next few days.

Interdiction count growing

When I saw the rank of Rear Admiral hit 100% I knew I had to look out for a Federal Navy Mission. It was there quicker than I expected. A short trip of 8.5Ly off to HDS 1065 and Deluc Dock - a data on computer mission. Then it was back to the, by now, regular trip; so I flew over to BD+27 1356 where I had some missions to hand at both Birkeland Dock and Whitson Platform. I was searching for a high paying passenger, but there was nothing at Birkeland Dock. In fact, the problems were data on computer missions paying 848,084 credits, still looking for passengers I stopped accepting them and flew over to Whitson Platform. Nothing on the Solo game but on the Open Game there was a Rich Tourist offering 7,818,538 credits, so I snapped it up and my total load was one passenger group and nineteen lots of data on the computer. On arriving at the star 63 Geminorum I had a direct message from a hit man. As there was no immediate attack, I decided to open the galaxy map and return to Whitson Platform. However, on arrival, I turned back and retraced my steps to 63 Geminorum. I was immediately advised of another attack. I flew almost all the way to my destination, Fairbairn Enterprise, and then it happened. Three interdictions, one after the other. Yes you surmised right, I beat two of them but I could not shake off the third. I found myself dumped in Fairbairn Enterprise, a little worse for wares but all the data on computer missions in tack, but, yes, as you have guessed, I had lost the passenger group. I was feeling bad about the loss of passengers, they were mounting up, 87 in 7 trips. Now might be time to move on to another part of the galaxy.
