Support Kayode Tau and exclude NMLA representation

    Location: Pegasi Sector PN-T c3-14 / Kumo City | Contributors: 1,925 | End: 15 Jul 2021

The Kumo Crew syndicate is requesting deliveries to mass-produce a recreational drug.

The drug is believed to originate with the Blue Viper Club, a nomadic clan travelling aboard an ancient dredger that recently appeared near Kumo City station.

Arch-Corsair Kay Volantyne, representing the Kumo Council, provided details to local newsfeed The Pegasi Sentinel:

"Helix will change lives across the galaxy! Derived from high-quality organic crops, and with many medicinal and psychological benefits, it is guaranteed to bring contentment."

"All we need to kick-start manufacture are deliveries of agronomic treatment, liquid oxygen and performance enhancers to Kumo City in the Pegasi Sector PN-T C3-14 system."

Many authorities have registered concern that this will exacerbate drug addiction and misuse, which are common social problems. However, some markets have shown interest in the potential new product.

Vox Galactica has reported rumours that it may be a previously unknown strain of onionhead, a highly popular psychedelic. It remains unknown whether the Blue Viper Club cultivated it aboard their dredger or acquired it from another source.

Each completed tier will ensure the effective distribution of resources and equipment to locally supply the medicinal drug. Experts estimate that reaching Tier 1 will enable it to be stocked at up to 10% of anarchy-controlled industrial markets. Tier 2 will extend this to around 20%. Tier 3 will extend this to around 30%. Tier 4 will extend this to around 40%. Tier 5 will extend this to around 50%.

It is expected that if Tier 1 is reached, the product will come to market around the 22nd of July 3307

The initiative begins on the 8th of July 3307 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, this aspect of the campaign will end immediately.

  • Fight for the Federation against Azaladshu Free's Independence

    Location: Azaladshu / Fortress Liberty | Contributors: 835 | End: 8 Jul 2021

Conflict has erupted between the Azaladshu Free and Neche Inc factions, as multiple Federal systems declare independence.

This was sparked by Azaladshu Free withdrawing from the Federation, which transformed Azaladshu, LFT 824, LHS 277 and LTT 3919 into independent systems. The faction strenuously opposes government monitoring of Federal citizens' private communications.

Three other Federal factions are on the verge of declaring independence: Coalition of Uteran, Lp 726-6 Free and Gluscap Labour. All are closely monitoring the situation in Azaladshu and considering their next move.

Mayor Constanza Noguera, leader of Azaladshu Free, made this statement:

"We refuse to accept the Federation's draconian surveillance laws. I call upon all supporters of independence to help us fight for our sovereignty!"

The declaration brought a swift reaction from President Zachary Hudson:

"As Azaladshu Free has violated the Federal Accord, I have no option but to order Neche Inc to engage with these criminals. Thanks to advance intelligence on the secession, we were able to establish the megaship Fortress Liberty in the system to help retake it for the Federation."

In Congress, Shadow President Felicia Winters faced criticism for allowing the secession to occur within her sphere of influence. She reiterated that she does not support rebellion, but does consider the Proactive Detection Bureau to be unconstitutional.

Neche Inc, in partnership with the Federation, has offered credit rewards to any pilots willing to help crush this rebellion by handing in Combat Bonds at the megaship Fortress Liberty in the Azaladshu system.

Should Neche Inc match tiers with Azaladshu Free, it will remain independent but no other factions will secede from the Federation. Should Neche Inc end one or more tiers ahead of Azaladshu Free, it will return to being a Federal faction and no other factions will secede from the Federation.

The two factions have set out seven-day campaigns, which will end when the top tier is reached by either faction or early on Thursday the 8th of July 3307.

    Salvation's Appeal for Guardian Artefacts

    Location: PMD2009 48 / Glorious Prospect | Contributors: 2,453 | End: 1 Jul 2021

Aegis Research and Taurus Mining Ventures have requested deliveries of Guardian artefacts to the PMD2009 48 system.

The rival campaigns follow the discovery of an ancient battleground between the Guardians and the Thargoids on Trapezium Sector YU-X c1-2 1a.

Patience Middleton, representing Taurus Mining Ventures, provided this statement:

"'Salvation' has claimed the exclusive rights to exploit the Proteus site, which was discovered thanks to his specialist knowledge. He has contracted us to pay for Guardian caskets, orbs, relics, tablets, totems and urns brought to the megaship Glorious Prospect."

The Alliance, Empire and Federation consider depriving Aegis of resources to be a criminal act. As a result, pilots are warned that any ship modules received from Taurus Mining Ventures will be marked as 'hot', thereby incurring extra costs to be cleaned prior to installation.

If Tier 1 is reached, the top 10% of contributors will receive a focused long-range high-penetration fixed Class 2 Guardian Shard Cannon with additional weight, power draw and heat. This will be placed into storage at the Glorious Prospect in the PMD2009 48 system by the 3rd of July 3307. If Taurus Mining Ventures outcompetes Aegis, the top 75% of contributors will receive the module.

The initiative begins on the 24th of June 3307 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

The rival campaigns follow the discovery of an ancient battleground between the Guardians and the Thargoids on Trapezium Sector YU-X c1-2 1a.

Aegis Research has positioned a megaship, the Archimedes, in the PMD2009 48 system. Professor Alba Tesreau announced:

"It is vital that Aegis replaces the Guardian artefacts that were lost aboard the Alexandria. Without sufficient materials, our anti-xeno research programme will be severely hampered."

Pilots are asked to deliver Guardian artefacts identified as caskets, orbs, relics, tablets, totems and urns to Aegis Research at the Archimedes in the PMD2009 48 system.

If Tier 1 is reached and Aegis outcompetes Taurus Mining Ventures, an approximate 5% reduction will be applied to Guardian material requirements at all technology brokers for each tier, to a maximum of 25%. This will last for four weeks from the 2nd of July 3307.

The initiative begins on the 24th of June 3307 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.
