The edge of the Galaxy - no more stars in front

logbook - entry 00015

Stardate 26.10.3306

Finally I have arrived to the edge of our Galaxy, no more systems ahead to jump on, only Andromeda, M110 and Triangulum - the nearest Galaxies that are somewhere 2.5mio ly away. system OOSCS AIRGH UE-R D4-1 The Formidine Rift sector of our Galaxy 23.5K ly from Sol, 33 ly from Colonia. Enough of that darkness, will head now towards the Galactic center, not sure yet about the path, will do it freestyle :)

SPONGOU FA-A E2 NEBULA + BLACK HOLE

logbook - entry 00014

Stardate 26.10.3306

Arrived in the planetary nebula SPONGOU FA-A E2 that has a black hole. Unfortunately with no landfall planets to explore, only one gas giant, so it was a quick tour before continuing my trip toward the edge of the Galaxy.

The ZURARA

logbook - entry 00012

Finally arrived in the system where the Zurara abandoned megaship is. That was a long 4.8K ly trip from the Soul Nebula, more than 100 jumps, in which every single system that I visited was already explored.

The Zurara is a beautiful megaship abandoned in the orbit of the 1st planet (High metal content worl) orbiting the G star of the system

Syreadiae JX-F c0

There are 7 data link points (4 primary, and 3 additionals), which I took the time to scan to obtain the corresponding recorded messages... another tragic story.

The Club funded the construction of The Zurara, a state-of-the-art Megaship designed specifically for long-term exploration and equipped with the latest AFMUs, and also prepared a number of Anacondas. Their mission was to locate viable Earth-like worlds in their target areas, and mark them with beacons to serve as waypoints when the Thargoids invaded The Bubble and humanity needed a safe haven. To ensure absolute secrecy for as long as possible, the Project Dynasty expeditions were never intended to return after they had completed their objectives. In the case of The Zurara, it was sabotaged and stranded in the Formidine Rift with no power by sleeper agents who had been conditioned to sacrifice themselves. The project's other ships presumably met similar fates.

Besides exploring the Zurara, I took the opportunity to sell my universal cartographic data (~30m CR gained), repair and repaint my ship, before leaving towards the southern edge of the outer arm of our Galaxy.

Formidine Rift Alfa Site

logbook - entry 00011

Went to Eafots EU-R c4-1 System to explore the abandoned site of Formidine Rift Alfa Site. Same design as the Dav's Hope site close to the bubble, also offering the same possibility to gather different materials (chemical processors, shielding sensors, etc...). There are a 6 communication data logs in which you discover a tragic story...

Approaching Soul Nebula!

logbook - entry 00009

Close to the Soul Nebula I have made the 1st discovery of an interesting system, that contains a WW with rings, and a big landfall icy body with rings.

Heart Nebula!

logbook - entry 00008

I have spent the last two days visiting and exploring the beautiful Heart Nebula (8K ly from Sol). Most of the system have been already discovered (as it is often the case in Nebula area). Visited the cmdr Alexander McKinnon memorial at Heart Sector EB-X C1-12. He was an active ED cmdr who played together with his son - Jamie McKinnon (one of the SPVFA admins), and unfortunately passed away few years ago. enter image description here

I have visited also the tourist spot CHILDREN OF RAXXLA STAGING POST at EAFOTS BP-I D9-35. enter image description here enter image description here

Took the time to visit and explore many geological and biological signals on different landfall planetes or moons, each time with incredibly beautiful sights offered by the colors and lights of the nebula. enter image description here

I had the chance to see also a blackhole that offered amazing lens distorted views of the nebula. enter image description here enter image description here enter image description here enter image description here enter image description here

Earth Like World with rings, orbiting a gas giant with rings - PHRIO PHOE AJ-A C1-1

logbook - entry 00007

stardate 12.10.3306

Another 1st discovered system - PHRIO PHOE YY-A D4 - 39 bodies 1 ELW with rings, orbiting a Class II gas giant - beautiful!

1'178ly from Heart nebula, 7.6K ly from Sol

Two moons orbiting very close to each other, and close to its parent Class I Giant

logbook - entry 00006

On my way from the NGC 281 to the Heart and Soul nebulas, in the system:

PHRIO PHOE CF-Z D7 (another 1st discover made - well if I manage to confirm the universal cartographics)

2 A & AA Two moons orbiting very close to each other, and close to its parent Class I Giant. on the 2 AA, 27 geologic signals, and very interesting views on the moon 2A and the gas giant.
