Jupiter Division ships have engaged in battle with rival Federal vessels in the HIP 54530 system.

Loyalists to former Core Dynamics CEO Jupiter Rochester have built their own breakaway faction in HIP 54530. The FIA suspects that Jupiter Division agents first infiltrated the HIP 54530 Gold Universal Group years ago, and permit locked the system to conceal their efforts to overtake it from within.

Director Theodore Sullivan of the Silver Legal Group announced:

"We will not tolerate these criminals illegally controlling this system. Once victory is won, the Federation will be able to bring Rochester to justice."

The Silver Legal Group has asked Federal auxiliaries to support its efforts to degrade Jupiter Division's military force by handing in Combat Bonds at the Iron Wings of Justice megaship in the HIP 54530 system.

The Pilots Federation has agreed to supply all ships participating in this conflict with temporary permits to access HIP 54530. These will expire early on Thursday the 18th of February. However, neither permanent nor temporary system permits apply to fleet carriers, since they are capable of ferrying vessels which could evade detection and authorisation.

If victorious, each tier beyond Tier 1 will provide a 5% reduction to outfitting at Northrop Enterprise in HIP 54530 to those with access to the system, lasting for one month starting on Friday the 19th of February 3307.

The top 75% of contributors will be allocated a permanent system permit for HIP 54530 by Friday the 19th of February 3307.

Early on Thursday the 18th of February 3307, the Iron Wings of Justice megaship controlled by the Silver Legal Group will move to the Ts'ao Tach system. If victorious, it will be authorised to issue permanent system permits to those who meet their requirements.

The two factions have set out six-day campaigns, which will end early on Wednesday the 17th of February 3307.

The engineer Liz Ryder has requested mined materials to help make a previously unique ship module widely available.

The module is a fully engineered lightweight and high capacity Class 2 Seeker Missile Rack with thermal cascade. It was offered in October 3306 to pilots who helped defend the Eurybia system from Imperial forces. At the time, the Empire suspected Liz Ryder of supplying weapons to the NMLA terrorist group.

Ms Ryder has announced that her aim is to make this specially modified weapon available for purchase at all human technology brokers.

To support the initiative, shipments of bromellite, lithium hydroxide, osmium and samarium can be delivered to the Awyra Flirble starport in the Eurybia system.

Each tier reached will further reduce the resources required for acquiring the module in the first two weeks of availability, starting on the 12th of February 3307.

Proto Radiolic Alloys base requirements 16, reduced by two for each tier above Tier 1. Conductive Ceramics base requirements 24, reduced by four for each tier above Tier 1. Rival initiatives to arrange a diplomatic conference have been launched by Sirius Corporation and the Utopia commune.

The Alliance Assembly, Federal Congress and Imperial Senate have each provisionally agreed to send delegates to the first tri-superpower Galactic Summit. This political gathering will also be attended by representatives from independent systems.

All parties have specified that their participation depends upon the event being successfully organised in neutral territory, and with sufficient resources and security in place.

Sirius Corporation and Utopia have begun to gather supplies to host the conference. Both have requested assistance from the galactic community to provide data for their security services.

CEO Li Yong-Rui has asked all those who believe Sirius Corporation to be a more suitable host to deliver Anomalous Bulk Scan Data, Atypical Disrupted Wake Echoes, Exceptional Scrambled Emission Data and Unusual Encrypted Files to Goldstein Port in the Lembava system.

The initiative begins on the 21st of January 3307 and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately. Should both initiatives be completed to the same tier, the one with the highest contribution will be designated the victor.

The Marlinist Colonies have requested assistance to feed their population.

Eight systems were colonised by the Sirius Corporation to act as permanent reservations for the political refugees. Millions of Marlinists have now relocated to these settlements, thereby reducing tension between the Empire and the Federation.

The newly formed Marlinist factions are holding democratic elections to select their leaders. However, the transitional parliament has declared an emergency due to the shortage of food stocks.

Pilots are asked to deliver animal meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, and grain to Stillman Hub in the HIP 22550 system.

Each tier reached will increase the level of discount on the purchase prices of a broad range of commodities sold at Marlinist Colonies markets. This will last for a two-week period starting on the 22nd of January 3307, helping to improve trade links and boost commerce.
