Sagittarius A* Expedition - Entry 2: "The View"

I've made it to HR 6164 ABC 1, commonly (and officially, given the tourist beacon) known as "The View." Needless to say, it very much lives up to it's name; glimmering rings with a Class O main-sequence, a neutron star, and a black hole all visible makes for quite the stunning view indeed. Here's hoping that I'm able to get a closer look at the black hole safely, and I can't help but wish that I find an "impossible planet" orbiting close enough to a black hole to see the starlight being bent around it.

Sagittarius A* Expedition - Entry 1

Now that my ship is properly outfitted to venture into the black, I decided my inaugural trip will be to visit the center of our galaxy -- Sagittarius A*. Since the navigation computer is unable to plot a route all the way there from the Bubble, I figured I'd make my way there in sections, looking for any interesting sites on my way there. Since this will be my first significant time outside of civilized space, I knew I wanted to visit a nebula, and since the Cat's Paw is both more or less on the way and has a great name, that will be my first destination. With any luck there will be plenty of unique places to explore along the way, which will make even this first segment of my journey that much more rewarding.
