A follow-on to the Orion expedition, travelling back to the Bubble by a scenic by-way - via Magellan's Star, the Easternmost reachable star in the Galaxy.

This will be a somewhat hard-core trip, with an aggressive schedule and significant use of jumponium injection near the Rim.

The expedition will be self-paced; commanders who have pressing engagements and want to scoot ahead to an early finish are as welcome as those who prefer a leisurely stravaig taking in the delights of the Orient. Drop-ins and drop-outs all welcome; feel no completionist constraints to visit every waypoint along the way. Waypoints are all subject to change, and meets, if any, will be scheduled ad hoc when explorers happen to be proximate in space and time.

Don't be discouraged if you lack the range or jumponium for that farthest stretch to Magellan's Star. It isn't about getting every green tick on EDSM, it's about knowing that you have tested yourself and your ship to the limits and gone as far East as you can. And maybe we can even find an improved route - that's why we explore!
