The home of the Southern Cross Armada. Claiming ancestors from Earth's southern hemisphere, this group took the name from the famous South Pole constellation, symbol of their roots and heritage. Not only combatants, the SCA includes scientists, explorers, traders and engineers. Originally divided in service of the superpowers, the founding members secretly joined in 3301 and started to unite efforts in order to make the galaxy a better place for humanity. Finally, in 3304 they formally announced their status as an official faction. The SCA seek to establish their own sovereign state free from the influence of the superpowers, leaving outdated ideals behind.
