Happy New Year to anyone who happens to be reading this!

Last night before midnight I managed to make it to the first waypoint on this run. I saw some interesting things on my way such as a double water planet and an incredible gas giant. But the cherry on top was my goal. I wasn't sure what I'd see when I got there and I was sure it was already explored (which it was) but what I saw when I got there was simply breathtaking!

A massive B class blue-white star was before me when I dropped out of hyperspace! This alone was made my eyes go wide but when I scanned the system and found ELEVEN more stars orbiting it I was simply speechless! It was the perfect way to end the year and the first leg of my journey. I hope to find many more wonders like it as I continue.

CMDR Midnight

I don't believe I've ever written in my logbook so here goes.

It's been a while since I've gone out exploring. Been getting the itch again. Even though I just dropped some creds on a fully outfitted Dolphin and shuttled a few passengers around it just didn't do it for me. Elvira Martuuk modded up my FSD a bit. It's not the best but it gets me about 40ly so I'm happy with it. Gonna take a trip around the stars for a while, maybe drop by Colonia again, my home away from home. Being out in the wild black again feels freeing. I get to see things no-one else has seen before.

I'll probably start trying to keep a log, no promises though.
