OK so I've been playing Elite since the early days but only in Solo (I tried multiplayer but kept getting killed 'cos the fighty bit doesn't press my button and there are an awful lot of aggressive types out there who like to waste you just because they can...) I've used EDSM for a little while and I'm LOVING Odyssey since it came online. I made Elite as a trader some time ago and been working towards Elite as an Explorer which is an awful lot easier since FSS came on the scene (Pioneer 30% atm). Odyssey brought in a couple of other rank streams and I've since been hooked on making my way up the 'Exobiologist' ranking. Recently I was upgraded from 'Taxonomist' to 'Ecologist'. I'm not sure how far it is to get to 'Elite' from here but it feels like I'm quite a way down the road. As a result I've been quite the expert at finding and cataloguing Bacteria (amongst other hard to find stuff). I've taken lots of images and feel like sharing them in order to help others but not sure where to do this... Currently en-route to Colonia via as much biological data as I can get :)
