System PLOI AEWSY RS-U D2-204; Inner Orion Spur

Today while scanning a system, on the opposite side of the Inner Orion Spur, for valuable biological data I encountered a weird signal source pointer in my FSS view. I had never seen one like that before. After scanning it revealed itself as a "Notable Stellar Phenomena" - something I had never encountered outside of the bubble. From other commanders, I have heard that these phenomena are very rare sight so I couldn't believe my luck. They were gorgeous metal spikes in gold, green and purple. I took a bunch of pictures to tell the tale back in PSPF-LF 2 and then continued my journey back from the black.
