It is time to return home as I've hit the mark of 5000LY from start as I've gotten the invites for those Engineers that needed it. I've wrapped up the last bio scans on this previously unmapped planet and set out course back to the bubble!

After many jumps I am nearing my destination of 5000LY from my starting system. I revised what I do each system many times but to conserve time I started to leave the low value bodies unmapped, I still will go for any organic life in these new unknown systems.

Already found a couple of distance planets around a second or third sun and the Super Cruise Module is quite handy for these, although I still dislike seeing my current hull at 83%...

I am considering building a Krait Phantom with both a repair limpet controller and super cruise assist. While having engaged Super Cruise Assist I an currently building one and squeeze out as many LY jump range with the bare minimum of internals I want.

Big accident, while searching for those darn bacteria from above I clipped a mountain top or something. Shield down and took some hefty hull damage.

Lucky I "was" prepared and wanted to use the repair limpet controller for the first time only to realize that I had the Super Cruise Assist installed instead!

Decided to continue the journey with 83% hull granted I do not mess up any further, maybe a lone FC will come into my path...

I usually have orbital lines hidden like they are some kind of pollution and only enable them when I want to scoop the sun or sometimes when approaching a planet. This time I forgot to enable the lines after a system jump and got myself too close to the star, resulting in some minor damage that the AFMU repaired.
