The Independent Thargoid Initiative Task Force was founded in 3302 after the discovery of a crashed alien ship in the Pleiades Nebula. Perceiving imminent Thargoid contact and realizing the possibility of a direct threat to human-controlled space, the group was founded to study, document, and ultimately defend against any Thargoid incursion. The Task Force has sworn to defend humankind at all costs, and each pilot is willing to sacrifice their ships, fortunes, and lives to keep humanity safe.
