So there I was, minding my own business flying to Prof Palin, after gathering some sensor fragments. I’d heard of the thargoids, who hasn’t, but I’d taken an approach of “if I leave them alone, they will leave me alone”.

And then they dragged me out of hyperspace and turned my ship off.

Apparently, fiddling about with their sensor canisters was a bit much for them. Fortunately, I’d already dumped them when they started to make things dissolve.

So they simply looked at me a bit, and then left...

Still - terrifying to have them spring up like that unexpectedly.

I may have to take some precautions before my next trip, especially if I’m going to collect any of their remains....
