Tomorrow I'll be joining the Distant Worlds II expedition to Sag A* and beyond. After an extended camping trip in the California Nebula, I decided it was time to return to civilization, only to learn that the largest scientific exploration was occurring the day after my charted return. I put my name in the hat, and dusted off my old photography gear and made my way down to Pallaeni for the initial rendezvous.

I swapped ships for a new Krait MkII hearing they were decent all around ships, and it would have a bit more space to breathe, not to mention a fighter bay for my joyrider. The jump range was shorter than I wanted, even with a stripped down ship, but I got it high enough to make the voyage.

Now I'm camping out under the Star of Pallaeni until our leaders arive and give us our first waypoint.

Flew to Beta Hydrea today hearing it was the closest black hole to my location. It was stunning to see, not to mention the beautiful Neutron star pulsing nextdoor. It was a fantastic experience. I've returned to Wangal to rest and collect my proceeds from fighting pirates earlier this week.
