Distant Worlds 2 Log Entries of January 16th to early 17th

Wednesday January 16th 3305

Log recorded in system: Smojue QY-Z d13-33 22:26:13 UTC: I think I finally got this recorder fixed. Unfortunately I was unable to record my logs for the last couple of days, however, now my current location is currently above the rings of SMOJUE QY-Z D 13-33 5. Its a High Metal content planet and while the planet is nothing spectacular however I found the rings quite beautiful. Once get the frame shift drive charged up I'll be resuming my route to Thor's Eye.

Log recorded in system: Smojue UW-U b58-0 22:40:36 UTC: A minor note but seeing three stars in orbit around each other in close proximity is always a fascinating sight to behold in my opinion.

Log recorded in system: Traikaae YR-V c2-9 23:31:54 UTC : Found an undiscovered Water World in system. After scanning and mapping the planet I've learned it has an atmosphere of Ammonia and is terraformable, should be a good payday for me when I get back home.

Log recorded in system: Traikaae KH-N b7-1 23:50:17 UTC: I'm currently six jumps or so away from Thor's eye. While doing normal system scans I noticed that there two notable stellar phenomena in the system they're a little out there 50kls from the star but I'll be investigating.

Thursday Janurary 17th 3305

Log recorded in system: Traikaae KH-N b7-1 00:30:30 UTC: Inside the first proto-lagrange cloud I found crystal-like structures inside the first phenomena along with solid sphere structures. Had a bit of an accident when studying a sphere group and crashed my fighter into it, sustained significant hull damage on my fighter.

Log recorded in system: Traikaae KH-N b7-1 01:07:27 UTC : I've finished up in this system, the other Notable Stellar Phenomena was a red and purple variations of the crystal structures I found at the first one. Also found a Water World and mapped that for future reference.

Log recorded in system: Thor's Eye 01:43:20 UTC : I've arrived at Thor's eye and was greeted by the soft rich glow of the Blue-White star at the heart of the system. I first went out to Thor's Eye B, the black hole in the system. Its no Sagittarius A* but it was worth the trip. After my fly-by of Thor's Eye B I headed over to the lone gas giant in the system, its rings are quite thick and the way the light from the main star illuminates the dust of the rings is a sight to behold. Now I'll get some shut eye before making my way towards the Omega Nebula.
