This dark nebula glows faintly of blue and red. On approach, it's primarily seen by the light it blocks rather than provides. Inside the nebula, the galactic plane dims from the dust and gas. Situated over 16,000 LY from Sol, this nebula is out of the way, even for a run to Sagittarius A or Colonia (source).
