First Engineered Module

To be able to build the ships I want, theres a big milestone to hit first. That would be Engineering. In my opinion the most lucrative upgrade for the beginning is the Frame Shift Drive Increase Range modification. I already knew which engineer I would go to for that, so I just needed the materials. After trying to figure out how to use a Frame Shift Wake Scanner for about 10 minutes I realized that my ship didn't have enough power for all of the modules at once. And I even went into the module section on the system panel multiple times. But then I got to work and scanned FSD Wake after FSD Wake and finally got all the materials I needed. When that was done I looked up what I needed to be able to craft modules from Elvira Martuuk and set my destination to Cheranovsky City in the Ngurii system. After I got the three Soontill Relics I needed I made my way to Khun and touched down at the workshop. I took a moment to look around and figure out how this works and then I gave away my Relics and crafted my first Range Increased Frame Shift Drive. After that I realized that I got all the materials needed for the Experimental effect, Mass Manager and I installed that aswell. This is the point in time where I currently am. So the next time I log on I will be going to scan different systems and sell my Data to Elvira. I'll also upgrade the remaining FSD's of my other ships, so that my level increases until I can craft Grade five Modifications.

Safe traversing and have a great Journey! -CMDR Palx

Continuing my Guardian Grind

After cooling down for about a week or so I hopped back into the cockpit of my trusty Diamondback Explorer and set my course back on the Guardian Site. With only needing a small amount of materials I was certain that it would'nt take too long and I could make my trip back to Jameson Memorial. And with that in mind I deployed my SRV and weaved my way through the structure, shooting destrucable Panels when I spotted them. Once I got almost all of the Panels i made my way to the Data Terminal and started to activate the Energy Pylons. Of course after I killed all of the annoying Sentinels. I did my best to avoid the remaining hidden Sentinels but fought them if I triggered them eitherway. And with only about 300 bullets left I was able to obtain my third Guardian Module Blueprint Fragment. After that I went on to destroy the remaining Panels and looked for some more Relics. Until I left and headed back into the bubble. Once arrived at Jameson Memorial I set my focus on the Crystals. Of course I realized that I would need a combat ready vessel for this and because I was swimming in money after my exploration work that problem was solved quickly. I built a Fer-de-Lance, although not the complete build I wished for because of lack of engineering, and headed to the closest Res Site in Shinrarta Dezhra. After dropping from Supercruise I used a moment to get used to my new ship and the fire groups but quickly I targeted the first pirate and started attacking him until I got his bounty. I searched for focus Crystals he may have dropped and found one but because of my incompetence I wasn't able to scoop the material in time and it despawned again. After my first trip to a Res Site I obtained bounty vouchers worth almost 500'000 Credits.

Start of the Guardian grind

Yesterday I started to farm the components needed for a FSD Booster and it went pretty much smooth sailing. When you look over the fact that I sat there for 5 minutes figuring out how to use the data link scanner on my SRV. But hey, I found the missing braincells and got it to work and finally managed to secure myself a Guardian Module Blueprint Fragment. But after that when I relogged and did the procedure again I was suddenly swarmed by, I don't know like 7 Sentinels. And suddenly I found myself in my tiny Scarab being shot at from 5 different angles and I had to say bye-bye to my shields. I tried to fight them off but after aproximately 20 minutes of fighting i gave up and dipped the planet and left with somwhere around half of the materials i need to unlock the FSD Booster. Next session when my nerves are cooled and my temper is under control i might get all the materials i need.
