So today i've finally assembled all needed manufactured materials to finalize my FSD upgrade to Grade 5 with mass manager and increased range. As well as for the Guardian FSD Booster unlock. This starts a new era of exploration for me, an era where i'm no longer stuck doing 100 jumps of ~35LY to get outside of explored space around the bubble, i'm now capable of doing more than twice that jump range in my Mandalay.

To celebrate this new era i'll be exploring to the southeast of Sol, aiming for a spot below the galactic plane about 10KLY from my starting point. My aim is to quickly get out of explored space and then start exploring systems in detail, stopping at relevant exobiology signals and thus racking up a lot of credits upon my return.

I'm still in doubt whether i should explore to the chosen point and then head straight back or if i'll like it down in the cellar of the galaxy and maybe try to discover some more around that spot. Let's see when the space madness kicks in.

When i've racked up enough exobiology and exploration data to buy myself an outfitted and fueled fleet carrier i'll definitely return to the bubble. Hopefully the Type 11 will be purchasable for credits by then so i can take a type 11 and panther clipper with me on my FC into the black. As well as perhaps an engineered Imperial Courier or Sidewinder for exobiology.

Once the FC and my fleet is fully ready i'll be heading into the black past Colonia or maybe towards Beagle Point. But that is still a far away pipedream for now.
