The arrival of a unique missile as a reward for the CG brought me back from 30kly from the bubble, in tandem with my FC which was parked near Promium Relay. A day's buckyballing and I was dusting the cobwebs off my combat skills, trying out variously my Corvette, FDL and Cutter, settling on the Cutter as the lowest effort option to pew-pew my way into the top 75%.

I bored with this after a day or so, and safely at the 50% mark I discovered that on-foot combat was an option, thanks to Ricardo's Gaming. Normally I just schlep goods or pew-pew in space, wasn't aware of this. So anyhow, now I have spent a day refamiliarising myself with my Dominator suit, and bemoaning the fact I have no night vision on any of my 3 G5 suits.

So now I am within the top 25% of commanders, and comfortable with daylight combat in various settlements, a horticulture base in daylight being my preferred option.
