It's nothing to write home about. A class B star with a couple of stars that are over 80 kLS out so I didn't bother to scan them.

But it's a personal milestone. Now half of the systems that I've visited are systems that I discovered. Not bad for a gearhead orphan kid from Yakabugai.

Completed my first exploration run. Left from felicity Farseer's place on 1 Jan. I got interdicted and destroyed not once but twice in the process of getting out of the bubble. Consequently, I left with greater armament and armor than most explorers do but I was just slightly paranoid.

I started by visiting the "ancient ruins" in the Synuefe sector. I didn't have any available cargo space on the Cobra; I opted for the SRV. Consequently, I couldn't collect any of the goodies at the ruin site. I did scan a few interesting objects, we'll see if that's worth anything.

I went out to the Orion and Barnard's Loop Nebulae and returned via the California Nebula. Highlights were the black hole near the Barnard's loop Nebula and finding my first earth-like worlds.

I finished up with the help of the Iridium wing in Sothis. Turned out that we didn't have any trouble at all coming back. Cmdr Sclooch of Iridium wing is to be commended for his aide and professionalism.
