At just 1500 light years from Sol on the north edge of the Vela Molecular Ridge, this system is a good stop for the explorer headed out into the north-eastern sections of the galaxy. Phi Velorum is a blue-white supergiant, but the attraction here is the L-class dwarf with enormous rings. The rocky outer rings are a total of 68.5 light-seconds from end to end, and 41.2 light-seconds wide. This system is also a 'green' system containing landable planets with all materials necessary for frame-shift drive injections, including premium.
