This remarkable stellar feature went widely unremarked until its rediscovery on the return leg of the Mercury 7 Expedition. Weighing in at 6.32 solar masses, this black hole is situated on the edge of a brilliant nebula. The black hole warps the nebula, enveloping nearby ships in its misty embrace. The nebula has a deep, menacing red color, lending the system its name -- Uvhash, The Blood-Mad God of the Void.
Other objects in this system include no less than six separate gas giants, two icy planets, and a potentially resource-rich asteroid belt (source).
