I Should Be Too Old For This Shit

Look at me. Mid 50s, only just getting into the space game. Given a Sidewinder by persons unknown, and deciding for no good reason that going exploring in it would be a good idea.

And so here I am, in a basic ship with a few upgraded modules and no engineering. I can do jumps of around 20ly at a time, and yet find myself about 10,000ly north of Colonia - and still heading north.

This wasn't the plan, and the fact that I'm still traveling proves that I need to get myself checked for Space Madness. The plan was a short trip out to Omega Mining and Morgan's Rock - far enough to get some engineer access, and to earn enough credits to buy & equip something better than the Sidey.

Well, I'll meet both those aims, anyway, and then some. I figure I'll keep heading north until I reach Skull Rock Garden (apparently the system with more planetary bodies in it than any other), then head back to Colonia for some rest & recuperation. After that, we'll see. But already I'm considering this my own little 'Silly Ship Expedition'...
