While out on a patrol two days ago, I happened to meet a few locals in the Deciat system. After I interdicted one of them to have a chinwag, I informed him that my presence in the area was to protect the younger inexperienced pilots from an early death while on their travels to upgrade their engines. It turned out we shared similar ambitions. One of these locals by the name of CMDR Beliglath turned out to be a senior officer in the Croft Republic Auxiliary Fleet.

He kindly extended an invitation to join their fleet as a cadet. Their mission is to protect and serve the star system of Eledas. They are currently underway assisting the Croft Republic in expanding their reach to other star systems. I've never flown with a squadron before, always been a lone wolf type, and the idea of taking up the role of a junior is far from appealing to one with so many experiences from the void, nevertheless, I decided to give this squadron a chance to change the course of my career from a freelancer to something resembling joint operations.

To begin, I accompanied CMDR Beliglath on a criminal hunting expedition, as I needed to test out the high tech weaponry installed and engineered on my newly aquired corvette. Later on I met an admiral of the force, CMDR Richie J Mills. Again, we went on a expedition to hunt outlaws. Our trip was cut short when CMDR Richie was needed in an urgent situation. He left me to take out the space trash which I found entertaining about until the time my missiles were depleted.

I continued on to Searfoss Horizons to be briefed on my first operations, which were swiftly completed in order to aid the Croft Republic in their expansionism ideals. It didn't take long to become a valuable resource to the political party, and the ground crew at Searfoss Horizons seem to really like my Corvette... They did come up with the paint job after all - a brilliant shine of cobalt hued armour plating. Quite beautiful work really. I can't recommend their services enough.
