Flight Log – 20210105.150830

It’s going to take 470 jumps to get to the next mass jump location of the flight carrier, Lunar Hyperlight. My FSD has 70% of it’s strength left after travelling nearly 7KLY to try and get to the first check point at Gria Eork EP-A d0. Unfortunately, I could only travel so far, before the nav computer stopped making further tracks. It was a bitter disappointment to say the least. I have 5 days to get to the next checkpoint and catch up with the Lunar Hyperlight. My FSD has the odd one or two moments where it malfunctions, but I’ve skipped on using jet cone streams to get where I need to go to preserve the integrity of the drive. Stupidly I left the hanger without picking up my AFMS to repair stuff. Need to tread very carefully to stop any further damage, and keep all of the cartography records I’ve collected (must be over a thousands systems I’ve jumped through now). I’ve changed my flight stick setup to have the hyperspace button on the controller, rather than the throttle. That way I can keep the throttle up to max, and only change course and direction on one controller (mainly fuel scooping and jumping). Will hopefully see you all at the next stop!
