So we got back to Arverda after locating Serene Harbour. Went searching for the hidden facility where the prisoners were captured, i assume that is where they escaped back to, or at the least would have been some clues as to their current whereabouts - but couldn't find anything on planetary scans.. although there was some sketchy facilities on some of the planets that shot first asked questions later.. there is too many to know for certain which would have been involved.

Despite their denials however the imperials granted me an honorary knighthood for the search.. and the federation ranked me petty officer and granted me the Sol permit. There is something bigger going on between those two about Serene Harbour than they are letting on. Only time will tell. It was very strange that the wreck it led us to contained thargoid artifacts however. I wonder if there is some plot involving them?

Pfft I sound more like a space detective than a privateer.. really need to get back to it.

I've pulled space express out of mothballs, and upgraded the power and thrust. Madelynn Haas has been happily fussing over the craft in the fighter bay.. meanwhile Lindsay has been his usual sullen self. They are both millionaires but have nowhere else to go because their association with the Archon made them quite a few enemies.. and their former associates means even in Delaines sphere of influence they still have to sleep with a gun under their pillow.

As much as he complained about the facilities around Colonia, Lindsay now realizes he was at least free to visit them without an assassin behind every corner. When he gets richer I expect he will make me an offer on the Beluga we pimped out over there and return there to move into it. Assuming Delaine doesn't have other plans. Heh.. Delaine will probably force Linday to turn the Baluga into a floating casino or something. Nobody ever leaves Delaine fully..

Madelynn wants to polish up her combat skills so I have taken a kill contract in Multuring to show the Jet Hand gang the error of their ways. Serves them right. You either work for Kumo, or you work against them.

So i just visited Shinrarta Dezhra for the first time. Lots of tourist beacons. Spent an hour blowing away bounties at the high extraction site. Took out a conda at the end, but my hull was down to 22% but ye my paint looks leet now lol

I have located a crashed ship on LTT 1935 6A that contained some materials, Beryllium, Fish and a Thargoid Sensor. Weirdly the wreck appears to have scanned me as I approached. It is probably unrelated to the prison break out. I will keep searching.

The data I got from Serene Harbour Prison seems to be of great interest to the Federal authorities.. they paid 600 times what my transaction panel valued it at. Apparently these Theta prisoners are of great interest to them.

So far I have been unable to locate any other suspicious facilities. I got a local trader mission for fruit and vegitables, but once again I suspect it is unrelated.

Looks like a dead end at this point.

So I have located Serene Harbour - however someone else beat me to it, going by the ships blowing each other up around the area at the moment...

I am going to attempt to go in for a closer look.

I've managed to land, and found a shot out uplink. It is a prison. It seems to mention a NMLA terrorist group. They are given prisoner codes Theta 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 and 12 etc. Their leader was designated Theta 7. He is an engineer. (I am going to guess an oddessy engineer) Apparently they were captured in LTT 1935, at a hidden advanced workshop.

They seem to be trying to hide them from imperial intelligence? But it appears imperial intelligence codes were used to disable defenses. Then a bunch of their own guys landed soldiers and broke the prisoners out after killing everybody else.

Weird, I guess next stop is LTT 1935? A lot of cargo tossed about on the ground, and a second log sounds like they planted something in the facility a bomb maybe?

I've also found a datapoint with encrypted files.. and further details in the settlement comms log uplink.

Ok after smashing ourself over the last 4000 light years, everything is on fire, most things are broken, but we probably broke some records getting here.

We have Docked at the I.S.S. Olympus Mons for repairs and began searching nearby systems for the source of the distress signal.

Ok crew is up and we are flooring it... on our way to Swoilz non-stop.

Hmm apparently gossip on the station is there was some distress call from a settlement called Serene Harbor on an unknown planet called Theta Seven, located 80 lightyears from Swoilz XX-D c1-30. It is right in the path of our return trip. We have all decided to cut short our visit and head that way.. We already have two systems previously identified marked in that region to investigate so it sounds like we should check them out.. We estimate it is about 100 jumps out.....

..... I am halfway there now, but the crew is all too exhausted to continue.. so we are bedding down for the night..

We arrived finally at the station rumored to be in the Omega Nebula.

As rumored the locals here are very.. er.. friendly around wealthy visitors although that seems more to do with there being very little else to do here, and not very much wealth. Even the missions are poor.. they expect you to pay them!

Unsurprisingly the region is crawling with unsavory types anywhere you care to park your ship. Even the nav beacon was packed with ships trying to steal cargo.

I might stick around here a while before the final leg of my trip back and clean out some of these outlaws.. they don't seem to have much in the way of honor, and none of them seem to work for Delaine.

Also a lot of passengers requesting passage to pretty much anywhere else.. they all seem to pay well at first look, but they all want to travel to entirely unrealistic destinations. I could make more shuttling passengers between stations in Colonia in an hour, than the days it would take to complete any of these missions.

Other than stopping by for Catographics and repairs, seems to be an entirely useless destination.

On the upside even that pencil pusher Lindsay found some company that seemed to like them. Madelynn found some pilots to get drunk with and a bar.. although from the looks of it all the rounds are on her.

Blargh.. I think I'll stay in my cabin.

I've diverted course from Omega Sector VE-Q B5-15 to Rohini to register our claim on the Earthlike world we found. We appear to have beaten any others and it has been registered to us thankfully. We are not quite sure what to name the system at Crookoa UX-B c13-257 yet. It seems fairly high up in the galactic disk so I suppose something like Highwatch, Highguard or Highgate. In so much as factions I suppose Delaine's Kumo and New horizons corporation would be appropriate since they are the factions who's colors I fly. Then again my squadron is New Horizons Privateers X, which could also apply here.

In any event I doubt I will get much say in the matter.

This system contains Notable Stellar Phenomenon, Void Opals, Tritium, Bromelite, Alex.., Diamonds, two planets with overlapping gravity wells, and a boat load of materials for injection. Be a Nice place for a tourist beacon.

I've nicknamed it the Solomon system, after king Solomons mines of old.

Now if only I could get that name applied on here..
