Finally arrived in Sag A* today (well, yesterday, technically). Stopped at Explorer's Anchorage first for repair and to sell cartographic data. Data from the trip was worth ~197 million credits. Bought a pair of AFMUs for Neutron hopping on the way back to the core systems. At Sag A* , deliberately entered the exclusion zone to see how close I could get. Exclusion zone starts at just under 40 ls. Took some photos of the black hole. Upon leaving the exclusion zone, heat exceeded 100% and minor damage was suffered by most modules. Returned to Explorer's Anchorage for repair, then departed for a black hole in the Empyrean Straits.

Performed my first FSD supercharge. Took the ship nice and slowly into the jet, got thrown around quite a bit but was successful. Did a few more FSD supercharges, faster the next times.

Ended the day at a valuable system with planets to map tomorrow. Also found a rather small (380km radius)metal-rich body that I landed on with a good view of the close binary pair.
