Touchdown confirmed

March 20, nearly three years ago from today I embarked on an expedition around the galaxy. Today March 4 I touched down in the Bubble again. So much has changed since I left. There are new technologies and there have been several updates to... the system so to speak. I'm not sure what's next. First I'll look up some old friends if they're still around and I will be updating my ships systems with the new technologies available. I'm also very curious to my findings in the last three years.

Embarking on an new expedition.

Today I'm embarking on a new expedition. Planning to go further and longer away than before. I've got a new loadout on my Anaconda to try out. First stop is Medusas rock, I can change my loadout there if I have to. My biggest concern is the removal of my fuel tank which i traded in for a Guardian FSD booster. We'll see.

It's been more than two months out on the rim

Still out in the black in the Galactic South. Discovered many new things. Great systems with lots of materials. I've never been this far out or in systems this remote. I had to use FSD Injection many times just to get on. There are amazing worlds here out on the rim.

I've found a strange blue dit which is visible from many light years away. I've been chasing it for thousands of light years. It seems to be a nebula. It appears high above the galactic plane in the direction of the Andromeda Galaxy. I can't seem to find it on the galaxy map and I don't know the distance. I know it isn't a nebula that is already in the catalogue as fa as I know and it isn't Vigs' Beacon. I will try to reach it but hope diminishes if that's even possible.

Expedition

Out in the black once again. Now for the longest expedition I've ever done, hopefully. I embarked on this long expedition a few times before but the universe thought otherwise. First, the Thargoids came and threatened the station my ships were stored. Then there came new technology available with better exploration was possible. The third time I got the ability to engineer my vessel to increase its jumprange. Not really necessary but it helps to get to interesting places quickly. Also hard to reach and remote location come within range now.

Now I'm heading out to the galactic south, to the base near the Crab Nebula. From there on I'll try to get around the galaxy on to Beagle Point and Tomaski Beacon. I'm not sure which way around I will go. I'm off now.
