Froaphs el-p b48-0 a5c - 150th entry and counting

Beautiful gas giant with 2 shepherd moons visible just up to the left, shining brightly. Landed on the 3rd shepherd moon a5c with a -28 degree orbit and it contained FronticuLua Campestris Amethyst marking the 150th unique codex entry for exo biology on this expedition.

My ship looks a little worse for wear, might be time to head home to deliver some data and a day or 2 relaxing before coming back to continue hunting all of the codex entries in Norma Expanse

Byeia aip fr-b b46-0, Very interesting system with 3 Sheperd moons and more.

On my way to what is hopefully my first DAZ white dwarf I stumbled across this gas giant with 3 shepherd moons. The moons orbit at 497 016k km 880 203k km and 1 539 114k km. The rings of the gas giant span 6 576 200km.

The system also has an asteroid belt only 1 895 099km from the main star. 2 Very small moons in bodies 4a and 4b only 257km and 297km radius. Gas giant 8 with a rotation period of only 6.6hours. And body 8da with a very close orbit of 5355km.

A few jumps further I found a Wolf-Rayet WC and Wolf-Rayet WO orbiting each other at a distance of 300Ls in EOS AOD AA-A H0

First 100 exo biology codex entries

Nice planet with a thin amonia atmosphere orbiting a L type star to reach the 100 codex entry.

An exploration challenge

Ive done some exploration trips before and have always wanted to do a longer trip into the unknown but was never quite sure what the goal should be. After a long time thinking it over I have set myself a goal of finding every codex entry for exo biology, stars, gas giants and planets in the Norma Expanse.

Every entry should be from a first footfall, or first discovery. Not from reported sightings. Or by using the system search. I will only use my experience and looking at stars in the realistic galaxy map. No filters, and no searching. (C type star not included as these were added by hand and believed to all be mapped already)

After setting of a couple of days ago Ive been making good headway.

Currently I am hunting the more elusive star types like Wolf-Rayet, found WC and WO already. Also searching for the carbon variants and Giants, picking up biological samples as I stumble across them heading to destinations I have marked. Will do more targeted searching for bio samples later on.
