(Anaconda)

I forgot to mention yesterday that I decided to fly over the Far 3kpc Arm to the Boreas Region and then directly to Beagle Point.
I have now left a good distance behind, 27K Ly from home, does it feel strange? no! Do I feel alone? , not at all, I have the best music, the best whiskey and the best ship you can imagine, I even have a cinema here, an automated kitchen that can make the best food you can imagine, everything is state of the art. It's like an intergalactic home that I can travel anywhere with. But what is the best of the best when you are lonely? when you can't share it with anyone, when at the end of the day there's no one there to talk to about it... loneliness can be like a black hole...the greatest pain of all...if you get caught in its vortex you slowly fall in and before you know it you're lost forever, that even the brightest light might no longer be able to help you, beautiful from the outside but inside you're trapped and there's no escape... do you know the song? by System of a Down? Lonely Day?
"...Such a lonely day, and it's mine The most loneliest day of my life Such a lonely day should be banned It's a day that I can't stand..."
the song was just going through my head and I was humming it. Yes, sometimes I long for... let's say female company, or society in general, but when I read through my mission reports and everything I've seen on my journey and what I'll see in the future, I forget all human desires and fears. All the Earth-like planets, all the terraformable planets that I've discovered so far, are potential homelands where humanity could one day settle and live a normal, happy life. This mission is extremely important to me, and to all of humanity; my well-being comes last.
It... it was a long day. I'm going to drink a beer and rest a bit...
"...Such a lonely day, and it's mine It's a day that I'm glad I survived..."

I've seen a lot of things in my life, but what I've seen today is on a completely different level.
Ever heard of the system: Wepaa BA-A g751? Well, actually nothing special, a nice little system with a black hole as the primary star.
But if you look at the navigation display, you'll notice that "remarkable phenomena" are happening there.
I'm a huge fan of such things, so I followed the signal.
I jump out of my FSD and almost shit myself. Suddenly a green, glowing, pitch-black fog builds up in front of me. All I could hear was the howling of my cooling engine, I throttled my throttle down to zero. The silence was deafening, I've never seen anything so beautiful and at the same time scary in my entire life.
Of course, I flew in, to see what would happen lol but nothing happened....the darkness swallowed me and dragged me deeper in, I could only see the glow of my instruments, the hull of my ship disappeared into the dark nothingness.
I...I...am not sure but I think I heard someone whispering, a whisper that scratches at the wall of my skull: "turn back"; "you are not welcome here"...My whole ship started to shake, like a dog staring into the void at night and barking and not even sure whether to protect or run away in fear. The glow of the instruments started to flicker green, almost threatening. The flickering of the instruments almost looked as if gigantic eyes were watching me from the fog. I turned the throttle to the maximum, I have to get out of here, that's for sure, but nothing happened, my engine remained silent. Just as I was beginning to regret flying into it, the fog cleared and the first stars shone through, and unknown objects appeared in front of me. I flew closer to them and ran a scan. It was an ancient microorganism that had been constructing things over millions of years. I was fascinated and scared to death.
I did what I was told, I started my FSD and jumped into the next system, leaving this wonder of the universe in peace.

I am making my first log entry of my life here. I know it is the duty of every CMDR to make a regular logbook entry, but over the years I simply forgot.
Yesterday I flew out of Colonia to finally fulfill my dream.
"To infinity and beyond" my goal: Beagle Point
While I am writing this, an analysis of the biological data of a rather strange plant is underway on a planet in the EOL Prou OX-K D8-679 system. It is the second moon of a gas giant in the 6th row.
I have a long way to go, I think I will fly to Beagle Point via Sagitarius A*, I am not sure, maybe I will take an alternative route that no one else would take... after all, I am on a mission in the name of science and research, to collect as much biological data as possible.
I will mention in the next entry what I decided. So enough talking, I have to go
