Today I take my leave of Sharpless 171 and the NGC 7822 nebula. This region drew my attention during my last voyage, I am pleased to be able to see it up close. The type O stars are glorious to behold! When they go nova in a few billion years, we can expect great things from this region.

I was concerned about the size of the fuel tank on this ship, but it has proven to be serviceable. I'm able to make 4 jumps at or near maximum distance before having to scoop. All other aspects of this ship's performance (aside from its monstrously slow manoeuvrability in supercruise) have totally won me over - THIS is how you build an exploration vessel. It is with optimism and high expectations that I set my sights on the Heart and Soul nebulae.

Journey to the Formidine Rift begins

Time to show the galaxy what this CMDR is made of. From Maia, I will journey to the site of the lost Zurara, and pay my respects to the courageous explorers who came before me. Into the black!
