I've been dormant for a long time. Many changes have happened, both to myself and to the galaxy as a whole. It's time to start experiencing the wonders of the galaxy again instead of wallowing in self-pity.

Finally getting back to my exploration. Finally refitted the scanner, the new system is quite fun. I need to keep at this rather than almost wasting away not being able to do anything.

Still working my way back to Yuracani. I've currently been making short trips rather than long ones, trying to conserve energy and time. From what I've heard of the news, the Dove Enigma has been repaired now. I still plan to head out that way, though I may swap the Scavenger for a more exploration-focussed ship in order to make the long distance travel.

Now, to think of a new ship name...

I'm heading back to Yuracani. From there I can head to Maia. I want to check out the whole Thargoids thing, but I'm also going to try get stocked up on meta-alloys so I can help out the Dove Enigma over in Colonia. The news about that was... well, you can read it yourself.

However, it's fantastic seeing just how many people have answered the call to help. I will help where I can too.

Been stuck on a moon in the middle of nowhere for a while now. Came down with some sort of flu. Annoying, but it happens. I don't wanna spread it anywhere, so I'm waiting til I feel better before I head back out into the stars and towards another station. I'll still forewarn them and get checked out by medical when I get there. Can't take chances!

The bright side is that although I've been stuck in one place it has given me plenty of time to work on music, so I will definitely have an album ready for uploading by the time I get to the next station. Two sides of a coin and all that.

Headed out once again, heading back to the Maia system to see what's going on there first-hand. I'm going to use the time to compose more music, so hopefully by the time I get to Obsidian Orbital I'll have some tracks to upload!

Staying at the Rock over Christmas. It's given me chance to quickly fix some errors in my flight logs. That, and the food I take out with me is usually utter rubbish!

I'll probably head out again on the 27th or 28th, we'll see.

I reached Lemmy's Rock finally. This is the first asteroid station I've been to, seeing one up close and working is intriguing.

There are resource extraction sites nearby too, so I'm now debating whether to get the Hellblade transferred to the Rock and do some bounty hunting while I let the Scavenger take a rest, or whether I should just head back to the Maia system within the next 48 hours in order to not miss what's happening with the Thargoids.

I'll sleep on it and make a decision in the morning. This drink's on me, Ace.

I'm debating whether to use this exploration time to create some music for fellow commanders to listen to. I have my synths with me, so it'll help pass the time between legs of my journey. I have a few ideas already...

I've ended up stopping mid-trek at Bruce Enterprise in the Kabiku system. I was growing concerned that I couldn't repair the ship by myself. I WAS going to look into some upgrades while here but the market and ship outfitting bays are both in lockdown. At least I can get a good night's sleep while docked in a station.
