Update log 1.5 Return to Colonia 20/02/3304

Update log 1.5 Return to Colonia 20/02/3304 CMDR Miss Polgara submitting another log entry.

I have made it to Colonia Jaques Station, I have barely slept just jumping, jumping, jumping.

I know I have enjoyed this Gran Tour and it’s not over yet it’s been a great journey but my mental health I feel has suffered as well. Once I get back to Eravate I will check myself into the Medical Mental Health Unit just to be sure I’m ok and talk to a shrink. I know space madness is common, but these logs are also another coping strategy I’m using to try keep myself sane.

I collected so many credits from exploration it’s amazing how much of the galaxy hasn’t been explored but also, understandable as scanning every system you drop into and scanning every star, planet, moon will drive a CMDR to space madness. So you just jump from system to system without scanning a single astronomical entity to get to your next destination.

One system I recommend for some good photography is the system Eord Blooe AA-A H344. It have a black hole as system center, but I was interested in the Ringed Pulsar star it was an amazing sight to see and it’s only a hop, skip and jump away from Colonia. well more like 50 or so jumps away with the use of neutron star fsd boosting.

Adam is still making his way back to Colonia so I haven’t meet up with him yet but I have been talking to him on the comms, he is just having another long nap, I think he drank too much at Beagle point and is hung over. So I’ll wait for him here just in case of an emergency and I have to go save him though I find it highly unlikely. So when he docks at the station we will leave for the final journey back home.

So now so I’ll write another log when back home at Cleave Hub.

Update log 1.4 Beagle Point 18/02/3304

Update log 1.4 Beagle Point 18/02/3304

CMDR Miss Polgara here submitting another progress report. CMDR Adam and I have made it in one piece to Beagle Point; we celebrated with a drink of alcohol each I just had a Berry Cider, when Adam had the hard stuff Whisky. But we expected more it was a disappointing celebration nothing fun in the system to look at and go ooh pretty. We tried to make it to Oevaxy IG-Y d0 which was even further but needed enough materials for 8 jumpioum jumps and I only had enough for 5 so we left it. Didn’t want to get stranded on the outer rim of the galaxy.

Some recommended systems we have visited since the last log are.

  1. Eoch Blao QT-O d7-5783 nicknamed the Blazing Rapids it’s a Neutron Star with a M class star that is only 4.5 ls away and if you get the right angle you can get some amazing sights.
  2. Cheae Euq ER-L c21-0 has two interesting point of interests both at planet 3A the moon has a close orbit with the 3rd planet in the system which has rings that can give some nice views. a. The second point of interest were the Geysers Nicknamed the Diamond Geysers. Location at 23.9034 / -1.1383.

We spent a few days on this moon playing around and catching up on our missed sleep and nursing my wounds. We were careless though geysers are so tempting not to drive over and see how far you can launch yourself into the air. Adam went first and landed safely; I on the other hand made it up to 5km in the air but couldn’t control my landing on the way down. Needless to say I my SRV got destroyed, and I was injured, went unconscious for 2 hours, broke my leg, and lost a lot of blood from cuts.

Luckily I wasn’t traveling by myself or that would have been the end of me. Adam took me to the Medical room in his ship, and placed me in the healing pod, after 24 hours I was all good again. I can’t thank Adam enough he is like my brother we are there for each other at times of need.

So we have been going crazy a little and been reckless. Our planned point of interests: on the way back to Colonia have been thrown out the door or should I have the air lock. We both decided to jump directly to Colonia as this trip has been exhausting.

So hopefully my next flight log will be on the return trip back at Jaques Station. CMDR Miss Polgara Signing out

Update log 1.3 Gran Tour Space Madness 16/02/3304

Update log 1.3 Space Madness 16/02/3304

CMDR Miss Polgara submitting another progress report on the Gran Tour around the galaxy. Sagittarius A was an amazing site to behold the only supermassive black hole in our galaxy and the center of our universe, a must see sight for any traveling CMDR out there. And I didn’t get sucked into it of course I’m writing to you now.

Myself and Adam have currently landed on planet 3BA, cords 15.2019/14.1096, in system Syrivou NC-D d12-7. Been looking at some lava geysers, with Adam in our SRV’s. Taking a break from the constant jumping. I’m sending a image of our location on the galaxy plane, hope it sends ok without getting corrupted, from out here I’m amazed comms are still good with CMDR’s back within the bubble, yet I have trouble communicating with Adam at times, with interference making Adam’s voice sound like a robot.

I think we are slowly getting space madness, the longer we spend away from the bubble. I’m also worried about my power plant it’s at 89% integrity, repair limpets and auto field maintenance systems can’t repair the power plant as they require power to use and to repair the power plant needs to be shut off. So I’m worried if it gets to low I may just become floating junk in outer space another CMDR fallen victim to the Void.

We are almost half way through our voyage can’t wait to get to beagle point and Oevaxy IG-Y d0, the furthest system possible from home. Then the crazy journey back home, I can’t wait to get back home but I fear for my sanity that we don’t lose our minds beforehand.

Next comms log will hopefully be at Beagle Point, will be having a drink of champagne when I arrive and Adam and his Whisky.

GT Tour Update log 1.2 13/02/3304

Update log 1.2 13/02/3304

This is CMDR Miss Polgara submitting another progress report on the Grand Tour around the galaxy with CMDR Adam. I made contact with Adam he decided to go back to the Conflux Gamma abandoned site to find out what that creepy noise was at the settlement. I wasn’t too happy that he didn’t inform me and made me get an anxiety attack. Adam’s nickname is Cat and well they say curiosity killed the cat. I was curious as well if he discovered anything, he refuses to tell me anything, I can tell he saw something I can sense it his face goes so pale white, he shakes and I can see fear in his eyes. I’ve decided to drop the subject and not ask him anymore as I can see it makes him uncomfortable and I guess I don’t want to know now either. We set off from Sacaqawea Space Port towards our next stop Colonia, we saw a few other point of interests from other CMDR’s travels before us some interesting systems out there.

We are not taking the usual neutron star highway route from Eravate to Colonia but we did find our own every system we stopped off at was undiscovered. When I first set of on this tour I was so keen to scan every sun, planet, moon. Now it’s got to the point where I am only scanning neutron/pulsar stars. We have jumped so much with neutron boosts our FSD drives have malfunctioned luckly we weren’t far from Colonia at that stage. I did a little auto field maintenance on my FSD just to be safe. I also stumbled upon my first system that had a black hole undiscovered and it had two in the same system if I recall it was system: Bpesky aa-a g890. Soon after I found my first two Adam found 4 black holes on his jumps to Colonia. After the many decades of piloting Adam had never discovered his first black hole and me a new CMDR with only a few years’ experience piloting find two in the same system before him made him a bit jealous I think. I was lucky to escape that system though soon as I jumped into the system my ship went into an emergency stop. I almost got sucked into the black hole and that would have been the end of me! I found system Bpesky aa-a g890 as a bit of a mistake I was meant to plot into the computer Bpesky aa-a g89. I added an extra zero on the end and ended up at the wrong system we were meant to meet up at. Now I just want to discover my first Wolf-Rayet star, undiscovered. I personally haven’t seen one at all even a discovered one from a previous CMDR. So sitting here at Jaques Station, sipping on a cup of tea looking out at all the stars so bright here, almost in the center of the galaxy. Our next big landmark to visit is the very center “Sagittarius A” the Super massive black hole. So my next log will probably be from Sag A if I don’t get sucked into it.

GT Tour Update log 1.1 12/02/3304

Update log 1.1 12/02/3304

This is CMDR Miss Polgara my first light log of the GT Grand Tour around the Galaxy with CMDR Adam. I last made Comms with CMDR Adam in the system PRU AESCS OI-K A64-0 planet 1a at a conflux Abandoned settlement coords Alpha settlement on: 3 -66.47, -56.13. This Airy abandoned settlement is a Conflux Gamma mission site and the local sound was extremely spooky and loud but CMDR Adam and I both commented on how freaky this place feels and we should spend as little time here. We found 4 Expedition Logs dated between 30/08/3270 and 10/10/3270. there is also a encoded message that transmits at 30 mins past the hour within the system on a unregistered comms beacon but we decided not to follow the trail. We then discussed our next destinations system Flyiedgai ST-R e4-8 for a planetary nebula then the next stop Flyiedgai MX-E c26-10. Then system Skaudai CH-B d14-34 Planet-1 A for a planetary station stop off Sacaqawea Space Port. I'm currently sitting here been sending out a call for the past day and not reply I'm not used to this Radio silence is space madness setting in? I'm freaking out why has Adam not responded? has something bad happened since i left the abandoned settlement that place gave me the shivers. I've checked the Galactic star mapping traffic report it does show 2 Anaconda's have flown through the system in the past 24 hours but not the ships's names. I searched Flyiedgai MX-E c26-10 on the traffic report and only 1 anaconda has passed through the system in 24 hours and I'm guessing thats me. The System I'm currently docked at the moment, traffic reports 2 anacondas within the past 24 hours, could the other anaconda be Adam? Why did he not stay here at this star port and wait for me before going ahead without telling me where he is going? Or did something happen before he got to system Flyiedgai MX-E c26-10? Where only just halfway to Colonia surely he can't have had a mishap. He is a well experienced Veteran CMDR he taught me everything I know. Anyhow enough worrying I'm going to try get some sleep and see if the comms have picked up anything while I sleep. CMDR Miss Polgara signing out.
