My first system scan produced Braintree Bio readings. I marked them up for the squadron and moved on. The belief was that where there are Braintrees there are Guardian ruins. Let's get scanning.

Early doors on the first of the new month and I arrived at the destination sent by The Presence, namely SHROGAAE FF-A e500, to start scanning local systems for new Guardian sites. It can indeed wait until after I have a well earned sleep and can start refreshed at a reasonable time in the morning....

30 July I broke out of Explorer's Anchorage on a route to rendezvous with 2 fellow Apes from the Silverbacks who had come across interesting discoveries that might lead to undiscovered Guardian sites. My journey did not start well and ended disastrously. I had changed modules to my exploring Anaconda, 'The Sir John Kirk', for a little combat around Anchorage and not fully prepping for this journey had consequences. I had the wrong powerplant fitted and suffered but I was too far along to go back and chnge it. That wasn't the worst, while visiting and exiting a high G world, I thought I was safe in a shallow climb out. At 169Km above the surface in normal space at 220 m/s I went AFK to attend to the ships dog. Needless to say, gravity reasserted itself and sucked me back to the surface and Doom. Having paid the rebuy I was back at Anchorage. This gave me the chance to re-assess the ship build. Now on my voyage again I am 1500Ly into the 7100 Ly target destination. Mapping as I progress, this will take time. Using the Neutron Highway, I still have 45 jumps to go.

I'm starting my logbook from here, 24th of July 2019 at Explorer's Anchorage out near Sagittarius A. Here with Commander The Presence who is an excellent exped leader having a few tucked carefully under his belt. Next?
