Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-10

System: Traikaae CH-Y c10 First Life I scanned water-based life from one world in this system. I Got a few pictures in while I scanned the surface. I am so glad I decided to join this expedition. I've witnessed such incredible views in such a short time and I'm still within 5kLy of The Bubble. I can only imagine what I will encounter as this grand adventure unfolds.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-09

System: Blu Thua GI-B b55-2 Cycladia 1: Ringed Earth-like World My ability with the FSS is improving. Practice makes prefect I supposed. I found 2 worlds of note: a water world, and my first Earth-like world of the expedition, Blu Thua GI-B b55-2 1.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-08

System: Bleae Thua YE-H d10-29 Trio In A Ring About halfway to the first expedition waypoint. I found a water world [10 C]. I heard through the grapevine that someone has already hit waypoint 4. I am so surprised to hear so much space had been traversed so quickly. Then again, I have been taking the scenic route.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-07

System: M23 Sector KD-Q B6-1 Stall Dropped into the AS (Arrival Star) exclusion zone on accident. As a venture inward toward Sag A* I find the galaxy arms are far brighter than at the bubble. On Earth people would say there is less light pollution, out here away from civilization. The glow from the galactic arm is becoming indistinguishable to the radiation of many ASs.

lol Ass.

I've learned RR can recover about around 25% of a tank of Hydrogen fuel in a good passing fuel scoop (about 1000/s) from a Type M star. I will have to check the manual and see if there is a way to shut off supply to the additional tank from the cockpit. I may be able to get a few more Ly out of each jump and refuel en passant.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-06

System: Mammon Deep Space Outpost Mammon Monitoring Facility Docked within the asteroid itself. I was able to repair the ship integrity damage RR had endured while landing on Antares B 3.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-05

Great angle photo of RatRod Rescue landed on a rocky, ice ringed planet with a second ringed planet and Antares B in view.System: Antares Antares Antares B 3 Great angle photo of RR landed on a rocky, ice ringed planet with a second ringed planet and Antares B in view. I landed pretty hard on the planet. At the time, I assumed the planet had exceptionally high gravity and I did not compensate for it. Later I realized the planet had 1.88G... Seems I may have lost touch with planetary landing in my time in the bubble. Auto-Dock sequencing has clearly become routine.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-04

System: PSR J1856-3754 Coronet Pulsar The vortex of energy that is a pulsar is fascinating. Such a beautiful effect is created. Twirling strands of cosmic energy dancing out from a brilliant blue star. And the danger! succumb to its gravity and surrender all hope of escape.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-03

System: BRSO 14 R CrA Nebula (NGC 6729) The Nebula was beautiful. I am going to have to figure out how to take some photos. I would love to be able to save some these memories visually. The way the colors blend from red to orange and the backdrop of stars behind is breathtaking. There is little beauty that can compare to what is found in the black.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-02

System: HR 5906 Stranded Snake (Anaconda Settlement) Scanned system with FSS but did not find any indication that a planetary body might have something interesting on its surface. Perhaps it is due to my unfamiliarity with the Full Spectrum System Scanner. But rather than open the manual, I decided my time was better suited continuing into the black. I imagine I'll get the feel for the FSS as I utilize it more. Truly this is my first experience with this technology.

Odyssey Galactic Expedition 3307-01

02:20:3307.0032

Tomorrow begins my first ever documented expedition: Odyssey Galactic Expedition to Beagle Point. I have done some exploring in the past but nothing compared to the endeavor I face over the coming months. I am embarrassed to admit I found myself bound to the bubble for many years as of late. Bound to the creature comforts of civilization, the trials of combat, and the almighty credit. It's time I break free from these chains I have constructed. Tonight, I shall rest in Leavitt City in the Syntec system. Tomorrow, I enter the unknown.

Freedom is found in the black.
