Commanders log: started out on a discovery expedition 2 days ago from the slipher station in FAUST 68. The aim of myself and my second Jaina Scott is to get to Pueloe UP-O E6-56 which was an estimated total of 947 jumps. From there we are going to try negotiate our way through Sagittarius and out the other side. I’m not sure we will be able to as the Atlas’ max jump is only 20ly’s. But hey who doesn’t love a trier?

We hit our first problem of too many brown stars in a row during the first brown belt traversal.. twice. Thankfully both times I found a scoopable star within a short jump of our location. I know there is at least one more brown belt between us and Saggitarius so I’ll have to keep an eye and be ready to deviate the flight plan again if necessary. It’s a sweaty moment I would rather not repeat.
