Galactic Mapping > Routes > The B Road To Colonia
This route aims to seek out new and unexplored systems in the deep western space. From Thor's Helmet Sector FB-X c1-5 in the south to Colonia in the north. Via Deep Space Outposts for Repairs and Rest
It has taken 1 1/2 years to complete and I have to admit that in the end, I did rush to Colonia as I didn't see another ship or Cmdr except when docking at the Deep Space Outposts. I did discover so much Biology and earned the Elite rank twice in Exploration. But enough is enough for now. I will go back to a couple of systems to view a planet with 9 biological signs a a couple of Space Anomalies that haven't been added to the codex.
Many of the systems I have passed through were newly discovered and in all respects deserved a bit more exploration than perhaps I gave them.
What I will say is that if you take any of the systems that I have in my flight log and you go either side of them along way then you will certainly get the same result.
As of 2/11/23 I have
- Flown 80.366 Lys
- Mapped **3094 planets at a value of 1.160,363,57 Cr**
- Scanned 36,869 Biological signs for a value of 400,199,800 Cr
- Visited 5675 Systems and Discovered 3995 uncharted systems. Near as damn it 57%, which answers an earlier question of mine "Are there many Uncharted systems to find?"
I left [Thor's Helmet Sector FB-X c1-5] on the 24th June 2022 or 3308 on the 2nd October 2023
It was a struggle on a very basically engineered DBX to find a way out of the Seagull Sector and West. We had a few mishaps along the way and I ended up dipping back into the Bubble to get repaired and upgraded enough to carry on my journey.
To 12/12/3308, there are 1973 systems I have visited and I will get them all logged on the Route.......eventually.
The current End stop is on the carrier DSSA Buurian Gold in the Blie Eup CM-T c17-0 system.
I am currently plotting my route to the Inverness in the Thraikoo PS-U e2-4 system.

Currently ferreting about seeking out 5 Biological signals. Following a scan of the planet I had to hunt out the smallest site, probably no more than 15 km area where I discovered
Cactoida Pullulanta - Teal
Tussock Captus- Lime
As well as the ubiquitous Bacteria specimens.
Now to bed for the night on Black Rat VII (callsign TB70) then seek out the remaining two specimens which the scan shows as well established all over this planet.

Well, I managed a whole section of the journey without pranging Black Rat VII, which in its own right is an achievement considering how the start of this trip was crash bang.
This is the first system where I have visited a black hole. What a sight to behold.
Now time for a beer and a sit down on DSSA Inverness and catch up on the news of the Thargoid Invasion, Sounds like it has all been kicking off in the bubble. Then have some decent scran instead of the dehydrated sh1t I have had to since my last stop off. Reminds me of my days in the military on exercise. Then plot my next section of the journey to Colonia and catch up on Admin.
