Report: October 16, 3308 - Monde de la Mort

CMDR Blaze Carson
Anaconda AS-73E "Audax"

Today I finally completed one of my most challenging goals - to successfully land on and leave Monde de la Mort (the World of Death). The planet's orbit stretches from 2.5 ls away from the white dwarf to only 0.06 ls away, with the latter being well within the white dwarf's exclusion zone. Additionally, the planet passes directly through the white dwarf's jet streams. Given its orbit only takes a little over one hour, this left me a relatively small window to safely land and dismiss my ship, and then a small window to recall my ship and leave afterwards.

Report: June 14, 3308 - Rackham's Peak

CMDR Blaze Carson
Anaconda AS-73E "Audax"

Yesterday I arrived at Rackham's Peak, courtesy of CMDR Sisp I and their fleet carrier, USG Ishimura. The system, HIP 58832, sits atop the galaxy at a whopping 5319 LY above the galactic plane.

This trip serves as a continuation of my ongoing mission to see the best that the galaxy has to offer. Rackham's Peak certainly fits this description - it is a celestial marvel. On one side of the sky, there is the Milky Way Galaxy, with all 400 billion star systems in view. On the other side, there is nothing - there is only the emptiness of the void. Ironically, while my mission is to seek out the best that the galaxy has to offer, Rackham's Peak is poetic in that it is, in a way, the end of that. Like Ishum's Reach, there is simply nothing left to explore past it. Now, in order to continue exploring, I am left with only one option: to go back. And I will - but not until I have a chance to enjoy the view a little longer.

Report: November 27, 3307 - Beagle Point and Ishum's Reach

CMDR Blaze Carson
Anaconda AS-73E "Audax"

After several long months in the black, passing through Colonia, Explorer's Anchorage, and Luna's Shadow, I have arrived at Beagle Point, where I briefly docked at DSSA Distant Worlds. From there, I travelled to Ishum's Reach, which is both the northernmost reachable system in the galaxy and the farthest reachable system from Sol, landing on the farthest moon of the system, Salomé's Reach.

My next plans are to head back to the bubble. I plan to land on Monde de la Mort (World of Death) near the Colonia system, and also to land on Via Gravitatis (the recently discovered 45 G world) near the bubble, before docking at Mars High in the Sol System. From there, I plan to join the Magellan Experience expedition as a late arrival, which is set to arrive at Magellan's Star, the easternmost reachable star in the galaxy, on December 22, 3307.
