NGC 2374 is somewhat unusual as it is quite old in galactic terms. There are hardly any massive hot stars left so visual identification and 'OB filtering' via the GalMap proves difficult. It seems to be dispersed quite widely but the Sector is definitely smaller than a FSS (Federation Standard Sector). There are at least two stars from the archaic 'Bonner Durchmusterung' (BD): BD-12 1843 and 1847. There's also a star from the Henry Draper Catalogue nearby: HD 55854.
