Colonia - Beagle 6

I have arrived that sulfuric sisters POI. It had a low rating, but I kinda liked how close the 2 moons were to each other. One had too thick an atmosphere for my ship, and the other was without an atmosphere at all. On the surface, the larger moon was really prevalent. In the mountains, the sulfur content appeared to be high, because the earth was a bright yellow. enter image description here

In flatter areas, there appeared to be more geologic activity. I decided to climb a fumarole and admire the massive moon. enter image description here

After collecting some surface materials, I decided to take off, and begin my journey to the Bloody Haze nebula.

Anyways, here is a picture I took taking off. enter image description here

Colonia - Beagle 5

I have made it to the Dandelion Anomaly. On my way here, I didnt find much between here and the last POI, but just before I jumped in, I found an ammonia world orbiting a neutron star. Even if my ship computer let me land on that world, I don't think I would want to meet the bugs capable of surviving all that radiation haha. The black holes are somewhat interesting, when covering the long distance between the primary black hole, and the other 3, the stars appear to jump. Fascinating. Here are some images I took: enter image description here

I accidentally flew around 400k light seconds away from the black holes, leading to the lensing effect being ever so more pronounced. enter image description here enter image description here

There was also some Stratum growing on a moon, it was colored in a way I had never seen before. Maybe it was some unseen effect of 4 black holes. enter image description here

Oh also, my POI was made official :DDDDD. It feels good to contribute to projects.

I jumped into another system, and found a terraformable, and a water world orbiting a neutron star, not surprising in the slightest.

Time to head off to the "Sulphuric Sisters of Systimbau". Its rated low on the GEC, so I'm going to check it out and review it for myself.

Colonia - Beagle 4

Writing this a lil late, but I made it to the Algriel Nebula. I wasn't that excited about it, to be completely honest, but I took a nice screenshot of the water world there.

Now I am heading to a POI with 3 black holes, which should make for some interesting lensing effects.

In other news, I kinda rammed into a star with SCO. I must have overcharged it as I went to adjust my music. I lost 12% hull from that. I recently installed repair limpets on my ship, so I decided to test one out and see how much it would repair. I thought it'd be 5 or 6%, but it fully repaired me, so I'm gonna wait to repair now until Im under say 70%. Furthermore, I'm only going to stop piloting my ship when I am not moving, or at least Im going to try. Sometimes being a reckless explorer is fun!

Colonia - Beagle 3

Still on the way to Algriel nebula.

I'm currently in the Wepae DZ-D c26-168 System. Here there are 3 water worlds in system, the most I've ever found in a single system. There was another in the system prior as well.

Colonia - Beagle 2

I made it to Mors et Vitae. The lightless earth like was quite a fascination. How would life form without any light? maybe it feeds of radiation from the black holes or something. I'm an explorer, not a scientist.

An earth-like with no light

My favorite find since my last log was a moon with either argon or neon for an atmosphere, cant remember. It had a dark blue sky which I thought was really cool.

In other news, I found a water world and an ammonia world, and a planet with 7 bios. I decided to skip the fungodia cause I didn't feel like landing in hard terrain.

Now I am heading to the Algriel Nebula, which is supposedly special because it has a water world. Guess we will see.

Colonia - Beagle 1

I've decided to keep a logbook for this journey to beagle. I have wanted to make the trip since I got my pilots license (got into elite), and now I finally will.

So far, I've found 2 ringed water worlds, though one was already discovered. Furthermore, I visited an old find I made back on my xbox account. Absolutely massive ring system, orbited by a white gas giant. I'm hoping to make it into a POI on edastro.

A massive ring system orbits a brown dwarf

I've departed a fleet carrier, and am heading to the Mors et Vitae POI.
