I was doing exobio in a system 0.8kly from Sol when I stumbled across this planet with strange green patches of different shades. It's quite unclear what's causing it— perhaps something to do with the ice?

The body is Praea Euq TQ-W b15-0 5.

The bacteria here camouflage tremendously with the terrain!

I have discovered my first new system, and quite close to the Bubble— only about 1.5kly out.

It has a large Class I gas giant and a handful of smaller planets, but nothing of interest.

I stumbled across the system taking a detour to refuel. I suspect systems become much easier to discover when one detours like this; nearly all travel occurs along the most optimal flight routes, so stars off their axis are unlikely to be visited.
